We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to oversee the contractual and financial aspects of construction projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for cost planning, contract management, procurement processes, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
Preparing cost estimates and budgets for projects at various stages of design.
Performing cost control and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Reviewing and assessing tenders and contracts.
Monitoring project progress and measuring variations.
Evaluating and negotiating subcontractor and supplier quotes.
Preparing and issuing progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
Conducting risk, value management, and cost control processes.
Providing advice on contractual claims and procurement strategies.
Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
Proper utilisation of human resources as well as materials.
Requirements
HND / Degree in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent
Must be duly certified by a professional regulatory body
Having a proven work experience of over 4 - 7 years in real estate and road construction.
Good knowledge of cost accounting or cost management
