Quality Plant Quality Control Managers at Danone

We are currently looking for Plant Quality Control Manager. The ideal person will ensure the proper functioning, development, verification, monitoring and implementation of the quality and food safety systems in compliance with current legislation, local, global and Danone requirements

As  a Plant Quality Control Manager you will:

• Leads the quality and laboratory operations of the business.
• Define and implement controls and procedures to ensure laboratory requirements are integrated to ensure consistency and quality compliance in production
• Provide other QFS team members and production teams with relevant data and trends to drive quality improvement in the factory
• Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.
• Deliver quality laboratory services to the factory (Production ,Processing supply chain) and Research & Development departments.
• Ensure that the right analysis (method and sampling plans) are implemented to the product, raw materials and packaging materials to guarantee product and process safety and conformity
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of Laboratory equipment to support credibility of results
• Participate in both internal audit program as well as in external audits where necessary
• Ensure adherence and implementation of quality and food safety standards, protocols, procedures, policies, practices and housekeeping standards (GLP, GHK, GMP and FSSC 22000) within the plant .
• Lead or provide technical support and expertise in quality-related problem-solving, risk and root cause analyses and subsequent corrective actions
• Ensure that products released throughout the value chain are safe and in compliance with the company standards before delivery to the customer.

Profile required:

• HND/BSc in Food science and technology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology or any other related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Knowledge of FSMS (FSSC 22000) is an added advantage
• Great leadership skills
• Knowledge of six sigma and process capability improvement tools
• Promoting strong team spirit, leading with people to achieve set goals
• Good laboratory practices and management knowledge
• Must have good communication skill.
