Quality Data Officer at Sunbeth Global Concepts (SGC)

The Quality Data Officer supports the Quality Department by managing, analysing, and reporting quality-related data for all agro commodities handled by the organization. The role ensures accurate capture, validation, and maintenance of data from inspections, laboratory results, and field reports. It also ensures proper documentation, data integrity, and timely reporting to support quality tracking, compliance, and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture, compile, and maintain accurate quality-related data from inspections, laboratory analyses, and field reports.
• Ensure proper entry, validation, and updating of quality data in designated systems or databases.
• Organize and maintain structured records for all agro commodities quality assessments and reports.
• Analyse quality data to identify trends, deviations, and areas of concern.
• Prepare periodic quality reports and dashboards for management review and decision-making.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all quality documentation and systems.
• Support tracking of commodity quality from receipt through processing and storage stages.
• Liaise with Quality Control, Laboratory, and Operations teams to ensure timely and accurate data flow.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of quality data and records.
• Support audits by providing required data and documentation in a timely manner.
• Identify and escalate data inconsistencies, gaps, or anomalies for corrective action.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data management processes within the Quality Department.

Requirements

• Minimum of HND/Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Agricultural Science, Food Science, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in data management, quality control data analysis, or related operational reporting roles.
• Experience in agro-processing, FMCG, manufacturing, or supply chain environments is an added advantage.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong data management and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data reporting tools (e.g., Power BI is an advantage)
• High attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to interpret and present data clearly
• Good understanding of quality control processes (advantage)
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines
