Conduct incoming Materials inspection activities to ensure products meet the required specification.
Monitor production processes and ensure they are in compliance with the company quality and food safety specifications.
Record and maintain quality control, food safety, product evaluation & sampling documents to verify compliance. 4. Identify issues that could affect product quality in production and take corrective action
Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
Maintain compliance of implemented programs such as good manufacturing practice (GMP), Good hygienic practice, HACCP, Food safety & Quality Management standards in the facility.
Conduct quality control audits in the facility and ensure the implementation of corrective action.
Participate in Regulatory inspections, Internal and external audit.
Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations.
Perform other duties as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager.
Qualifications
Basic computer skills (Microsoft, excel, power point etc)
Strong verbal/written communication skills
Attention to details.
Problem-solving skills
B.Sc. in Food science and Technology or related Field.
Knowledge of Quality Control.
HACCP understanding and practical experience.
Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 22000:2018 is an added advantage.
2 years or more of proven work experience as a QC supervisor in the Food industry.
