Quality Control Officer at Ascentech Services Limited

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Officer to join our team in Kano.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet established quality and safety standards through inspection, testing, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify, document, and report any deviations, defects, or non-conformities.
• Collaborate with the production team to implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate quality control records, reports, and documentation.
• Assist in developing and updating quality control procedures and checklists.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce waste.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
• Train production staff on quality awareness and standards where necessary.

Requirements

• B.Sc./HND in Quality Assurance, Industrial Chemistry, Microbiology, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years relevant experience in quality control, preferably in manufacturing/FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and regulatory standards.
• Proficiency in quality control tools, techniques, and documentation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Salary Range
N200,000 - N250,000 Monthly.
