Quality Control / Assurance and Factory Floor Supervisor at Skin101 Clinics

Responsibilities:

Quality Control Procedures:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes and finished products.
• Monitor and analyze quality performance data and implement corrective actions as needed.

Testing and Inspection:

• Perform routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Ensure all testing is conducted in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Document and report on test results, highlighting any deviations from standards.

Packaging and Labeling Management:

• Oversee the packaging and labeling process to ensure it meets company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Verify that packaging materials are correct and of high quality.
• Ensure labels are accurate, free from typographical errors, and comply with regulatory guidelines.
• Inspect the packaging and sealing of each product to guarantee it is secure and tamper-evident.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Stay updated on industry regulations and standards relevant to skincare products.
• Ensure all products and processes comply with local and international regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and maintain documentation required for regulatory compliance.

Factory Floor Management:

• Supervise daily operations on the factory floor, ensuring production schedules are met.
• Oversee inventory management, ensuring that materials and supplies are well-stocked and available for production needs.
• Ensure proper documentation of production activities.
• Optimize production processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness without compromising quality

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/control, preferably in the skincare or cosmetics industry.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures, industry regulations (e.g., NAFDAC, SON, ISO), and best practices in skin care product testing and packaging
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using quality management software and laboratory equipment.
• Strong understanding of packaging and labeling standards and practices.
