    Quality Assurance Officer

    Role Description

    Medserve LUTH Cancer Centre is currently recruiting a Quality Assurance Officer to work from our Lagos State facility. As a Quality Assurance Personnel you will be working on-site at our cancer treatment facility. The ideal candidate will be expected to be familiar with clinical audits, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field (e.g., Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, Pharmacy, Public Health, or Health Administration).
    • A master’s degree in healthcare quality management or health administration is preferable but not required.

    Professional Certifications are desirable

    Quality Assurance/Quality Management Certifications

    • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
    • Quality Management Systems certification

    Oncology-related training:

    • Basic oncology care or cancer treatment protocols

    Patient Safety Certification (e.g., WHO Patient Safety Curriculum)

    Work Experience

    • 2–5 years in healthcare quality assurance or clinical governance.
    • Experience in oncology or outpatient care settings is highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with clinical audits, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

    Skills

    • Knowledge of NCCN guidelines, ICARE standards, and local regulatory frameworks.
    • Understanding of clinical workflows in cancer treatment (chemotherapy, radiotherapy, diagnostics).
    • Data analysis and reporting for quality indicators.
    • Excellent communication and training skills for staff compliance.
