Quality Assurance Engineer at Trusoft Limited

Job Summary:

• We are seeking two (2) skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineers to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analyzing Business Requirement Documents, creating comprehensive test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
• Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in creating automation frameworks from scratch using Cypress with BDD or Playwright, and have a working knowledge of performance testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze Business Requirement Documents to understand the requirements and identify the necessary test scenarios.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test scripts.
• Develop and execute test scenarios to ensure the quality and functionality of software products.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks from scratch using Cypress with BDD or Playwright.
• Conduct performance testing to assess the responsiveness and stability of the system.
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs through to resolution.
• Collaborate with developers and other QA team members to ensure high-quality software releases.
• Participate in design and requirement reviews to provide feedback and ensure testability.
• Continuously improve test processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing.
• Provide timely and meaningful feedback to the development team regarding quality issues.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software testing and automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test scripts.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks using Cypress with BDD or Playwright.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and a passion for quality assurance.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other automation tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with testing tools.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Understanding of database concepts and ability to write SQL queries.
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
