Quality Assurance & Control Officer - Sagamu at Eterna Plc

Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Assurance & Control Officer to ensure that all manufactured products meet and exceed customer and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory analysis on petroleum products (PMS, AGO, lubricants, etc.). Document laboratory analysis results.
• Maintain inventory of reagents used for laboratory analysis.
• Take samples of products on board ships for analysis.
• Supervise the sealing of loaded petroleum product tankers and lubricant products. Participate in the storage, identification, and retrieval of laboratory reference samples. Ensure adherence to established systems, processes, procedures, and policies, and make appropriate recommendations for improvement.
• Participate in the storage, identification, and retrieval of laboratory reference samples.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Laboratory Science or Chemistry.
• Minimum of 1 years' experience in petroleum or lubricant products and testing using standard test methods such as ASTM and NIS/SON, or equivalent, is an advantage.
