Overview

• Momentum Country and Global Leadership is a five-year global project funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) to provide targeted maternal newborn andchild health, family planning and reproductive health (MNCH/FP/RH) technical and capacity development assistance (TCDA) to countries to facilitate countries’ journeys to sustainable development.
• In Nigeria, MCGL will support the strengthening of quality of care (QoC) of the whole spectrum of reproductive, maternal neonatal and child health (RMNCH) services nationally through research, learning, TCDA and the introduction and integration of WHO neonatal (including small and sick newborn (SSNB)/pediatric standards of care into the existing QoC structure as a mechanism for improving neonatal and child health outcomes in health facilities.

Responsibilities

• Review all existing QI skills training materials e.g. slides and other draft training materials.
• Conduct literature view for all existing QI skills training material.
• Harmonization of all existing QI skills training material.
• Revised Manual base on feedback by Jhpiego, FMOH, NPHCDA and other stakeholders.
• Prepare QI skills training manual for review by Jhpiego, FMOH, NPHCDA and other stakeholders.
• Submit final QI skills training manual

Required Qualifications

• A First Degree in Medical related field 
• Master's, PhD is an added advantage. (Preferably not less than 8 years) / Medical Degree (MBBS, Nursing / Midwifery, Pharmacy etc.) with Masters in Public Health (necessary for medical related consultancies).
• Professional certification in related field is an added advantage,
• At least 12 years working experience in related field.
• Extensive consultancy experience with local and international organizations of at least 7 years.
• Previous experience working with the Federal and State Ministry of Health stakeholders
• Good knowledge of MS Office packages etc
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure and collaboratively in a team.
• Advanced level of spoken and written English

• N100,000 / Day
