QA/QC Inspector (Building Construction Company) at iRecruiters Africa Limited

The ideal candidate will monitor the production of concrete and delivery of concrete materials.

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparation/Issuance of Inspection and Test Plans.
• Plan and carry out surveillance in an ongoing site activities to verify its conformity.
• Raise a Field Inspection Report on any deviation or suspected non conformity.
• Issue notification to Client representatives on scheduled inspections.
• Conduct inspection to verify conformity of delivered material and product (with store personnel/supervisor), check the drawings on work-face, check survey reports, laboratory test reports (if any), make physical check on applicable items on the QC inspection form and fill out accurately all applicable information.
• Ensure the QC form is signed by all signatories.
• Submit completed report to document controller/supervisor.

Key Requirements

• First degree in Civil Engineer/Mechanical Engineer.
• 5 years' experience as a QA/QC Inspector.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suites.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
