Job Summary

• We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented female Purchaser for Prixair Restaurants, Hotels, and Bakery.
• The ideal candidate must be fluent in Hausa, possess in-depth knowledge of markets within Abuja and its environs, and have a proven ability to source quality products at competitive prices.
• She will be responsible for procuring all food items, ingredients, bakery supplies, hotel essentials, and other operational materials while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Sourcing:

• Identify reliable suppliers and vendors for fresh produce, meat, poultry, seafood, bakery ingredients, beverages, hotel consumables, and other operational items.
• Keep updated on market trends, seasonal price changes, and availability of products in Abuja and the surrounding areas.

Purchasing & Negotiation:

• Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and delivery timelines with suppliers.
• Ensure purchases meet quality standards and specifications required by the company.
• Maintain cost control while ensuring quality and timely supply of goods.

Inventory & Supply Coordination:

• Work closely with the kitchen, bakery, and hotel teams to determine daily and weekly purchasing needs.
• Monitor stock levels and replenish supplies in a timely manner.
• Coordinate deliveries to various branches/locations.

Record Keeping & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate purchase records, supplier details, and payment schedules.
• Prepare weekly purchase reports for management review.

Vendor Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Evaluate vendor performance regularly to ensure consistent quality and reliability.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Gender Requirement: Female (due to operational needs).
• Language: Fluent in Hausa and proficient in English (spoken and written).
• Minimum of 3 years experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably in the hospitality, food service, or FMCG sector.
• Excellent knowledge of Abuja markets and surrounding areas.
• Strong negotiation and networking skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Basic computer literacy (Excel, Word, email communication).
• Integrity, honesty, and a commitment to cost-effective procurement.

• Percentage of cost savings achieved without compromising quality.
• On-time delivery rate from suppliers.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: N80,000 - N100,000 Monthly.
• Competitive and commensurate with experience, including performance-based incentives.
