Job Summary

• We are seeking a reliable and customer-friendly Pump Attendant to operate fuel pumps, assist customers with fueling their vehicles, and ensure safety and cleanliness at the fueling station.
• The Pump Attendant is also responsible for processing payments, performing basic vehicle checks, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and in a friendly manner.
• Dispense fuel (gasoline, diesel, etc.) into vehicles accurately and safely.
• Check vehicle fluid levels (e.g., oil, coolant, windshield washer) upon request.
• Clean windshields and check tire pressure if required.
• Accept payments by cash, card, or mobile method and provide receipts.
• Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or fuel leaks.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the pump area and surrounding station.
• Follow all safety and environmental regulations related to fuel handling.
• Provide information about fuel types, prices, and promotions to customers.
• Restock supplies such as windshield washer fluid, paper towels, and gloves.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a customer service or fueling role is an asset.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Physically fit; able to stand for long periods and lift light equipment.
• Honest, punctual, and dependable.

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Exposure to gasoline, diesel fumes, and cleaning chemicals.
