We are seeking a versatile and results-oriented Public Relations Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage and enhance the public image and reputation of Pandora Agency Limited Nigeria (Africa) and Pandora Agency LLC the United States (North America). This role requires strategic thinking, creativity, and a proactive approach to building and maintaining relationships with media and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Develop PR Strategies: Design and implement a comprehensive PR strategy aligned with organizational goals and client objectives.
Media Relations: Build and manage an extensive press database; pitch clients’ profiles to media outlets to secure speaking engagements and exposure.
Content Creation: Craft clear, engaging messages that strengthen brand identity and resonate with target audiences across various platforms.
Event Coordination: Organize press conferences, media events, and public appearances that showcase the organization’s and clients’ initiatives.
Social Media Management: Oversee social media channels to maintain brand voice consistency and enhance public engagement.
Crisis Communication: Develop and implement crisis communication strategies to support management in protecting brand reputation.
Performance Analysis: Track PR campaigns and media coverage, using data and analytics to evaluate impact and recommend improvements.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports for management, providing insights and actionable recommendations for future PR initiatives.
Industry Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and media landscape shifts to refine PR strategies and remain competitive.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in public relations or a related role, preferably within an agency setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent written and verbal proficiency.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
High level of organization and attention to detail.
Proficiency in PR tools, media databases, and social media platforms.
Membership in professional associations within Nigeria and internationally is an added advantage.
