The Project Officer is primarily responsible for hands-on implementation of project activities, ensuring that project outputs align with the expected outcomes of various initiatives.
The role requires the preparation of reports, engagement with stakeholders, and support in the design of new initiatives that will facilitate the organisation’s sustainability.
The Project Officer will report directly to the Foundation Director. This role is strictly for Abuja residents.
Role Details
Oversee project execution and reporting in line with organisational standards and donor requirements.
Responsible for monitoring the progress of assigned projects and collecting all relevant data.
Support the development of newsletters, reports, and other data publications.
Coordinate and arrange logistical arrangements for stakeholder meetings and partner engagements.
Facilitate the creation and implementation of a detailed annual strategy.
Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders, including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of various initiatives.
Support the design of new initiatives and projects, as well as their execution.
Support grant applications, including researching grant opportunities and write narrative reports, in line with the organisation’s strategic vision and scope of work.
