    Project Lead, Digital Transformation and Innovation

    Lead and oversee the development and implementation of an overarching digital transformation strategy and roadmap in line with internal goals of the Company and industry standards.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
    Duties and Responsibilities Strategically oversee digital goals and integrate them with overall business/corporate objectives of Mixta Africa and drive organization-wide change from the ground up, with respect to digital standards and data governance. Responsible for achieving the successful delivery of the Mixta Nigeria’s key digital transformation objectives as well as project manage and track complex Group-wide digital and transformation projects. Draw upon organizational resources, industry research, and other industry leading standards, including data governance standards, and customer trends to prioritize improvements in Mixta Africa’s digital objectives. Lead process / customer initiatives for migration of transactions from Departments/Business Units to digital channels to achieve agreed migration targets. Own the digital planning, defining and implementation process for Mixta Nigeria as well as driving the development and execution of an organically structured digital transformation and data program. Work collaboratively with others to implement and accept change in work systems or processes, and to better understand opportunities for digital application and embrace these opportunities. Develop a digital framework to be implemented by Mixta Nigeria and other subsidiaries. Identify opportunities and initiate action to improve systems and processes to achieve digital best practice standards, and to actively transition such services to digital first solutions. Improve the capture, organization, access and management of digital data across Mixta Nigeria to ensure consistency, accessibility, universal understanding, and accurate interpretation. The Lead Digital Transformation & Innovation answers key questions through digital interactions, and how digital interactions fit into broader customer experiences and identify gaps in digital channels which could lead to poor customer service, service downtime, fraud, financial loss and reputational damage to Mixta Nigeria. Lead process / customer initiatives for migration of transactions from manual to digital channels to achieve agreed migration targets. Coordinate and supervise detailed competitive, market, trend, economic and financial analysis to inform strategic decisions on digital transformation and innovation. Play a critical role in Digital enhancements for internal processes and operations by ensuring that all digital channels are fully compliant with the rules and standard operating procedures of the Company. Run top digital priority projects to improve effectiveness and performance of Mixta Nigeria.

    Deliverables

    • Deliver a group wide Digital Transformation strategy to be cascaded down across the key Mixta Africa subsidiaries
    • Deliver the implementation of the digital infrastructure and experience for the new Experience Centre(s) across Lagos
    • Deliver an integrated digital experience end to end for our customer experience journey from lead generation to after-sales (across our Mixta Africa, Mixta Nigeria and LLHL businesses.
    • Deliver a quarterly report on new digital innovation developments in the real estate and prop tech sector

    KPIs

    • Percentage of Return on Digital Investments
    • Percentage of annual technology budget spent on bold digital initiatives
    • No of digital initiatives developed and implemented within a specific period in line with rolled out digital transformation road map
    • Attain a minimum of 75% satisfaction rating on twice-yearly customer digital experience satisfaction survey
    • Time to market of digital apps and initiatives outlined in the digital transformation road map
    • Direct report feedback – The annual average rating from 360-degree surveys
    • Feedback from CCO – qualitative judgment

    SKILLS

    • Superior communication skills, both verbal and oral (In English and French)
    • Excellent understanding of the real estate market and associated industries, current trends and developments in the industry along with an understanding of the competitive situation in countries
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
    • A creative and innovative thinker, who is a able to confidently and constructively challenge the status quo, and is able to think outside the box and create solutions which are both bespoke for the business and the digital implementations chosen
    • A flexible and adaptable mindset that feels the pulse of the emerging digital landscape in the industry and can tailor solutions accordingly.
    • Big-picture orientation that looks not just as project management objectives, but organizational-level objectives
    • Outstanding people leadership and management skills. Ability to drive change management across the organization
    • Ability to find strategies to bridge the digital gap and to make sure that everyone in the organization benefits from the transformation.
    • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of digital transformation projects
    • Problem solving – Brings a problem-solving mindset to any challenging situation.
    • Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal negotiation skills.

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE OTHER REQUIREMENTS

    • At least 10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Experience in design thinking innovation, data analytics and digital transformation in a sales-driven, commercial, or business development environment
    • Project management and prior product development and software development experience are desirable
    • An MBA degree or well recognized project management course will be required for the role
