Project Engineer at PZ Cussons

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Management:
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets. 
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues. 
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. 
  • Prepare and present project status reports. 
• Technical Expertise:
  • Ensure technical alignment with Plant production managers
  • Review and approve technical designs and specifications. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. 
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction/manufacturing. 
  • Communicate project status and issues effectively to stakeholders. 
  • Lead in project meetings and ensure regular site visits. 
• Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards. 
  • Conduct quality control inspections and tests. 
  • Implement corrective actions to address quality issues. 
• Other Duties:
  • Assist with the development of project proposals and bids. 
  • Maintain accurate project documentation. 
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project processes. 

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Experience: 2 years of experience in project engineering or a related role. 
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., AUTOCAD, project management software). 
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations. 
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Good hand/eye coordination.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good multi-tasking/problem solving skills.
