    Project Driver

    Job Description

    • The Project Driver is expected to support project logistics. The Project Driver is responsible for ensuring the safe logistics of staff and project commodities.
    • Hierarchically, the Project Driver reports to the Central Project Coordinator.

    Purpose of the position

    • The driver is expected to support project logistics.

    Responsibilities
    As a Project Driver you will:

    • Convey project staff to their destinations within/outside the primary project location.
    • Daily inspection of the vehicle.
    • Always keep the vehicle clean.
    • Keep a logbook.
    • Register fuel purchase and consumption in the logbook and on purchase receipts.
    • Maintain office vehicle and report to the Central Coordinator.
    • Submit a monthly car maintenance report to the Admin Manager.
    • Update vehicle particulars.
    • Collect/drop visitors from/at the airport.
    • Ensure the safety of office staff/consultants (and persons traveling for and on behalf of KNCV) while traveling with the official vehicle.
    • Perform other additional duties as assigned

    Who are we looking for?
    Education:

    • A minimum of WAEC holder.

    Knowledge / Experience:

    • At least 3 years of experience in a similar job
    • Good organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills
    • Must be patient, meticulous, and have a logical mind
    • Capable of working well under pressure
    • Must be flexible with absolute integrity, organizational awareness, and understanding of cultural differences.

    What do we offer?

    • A full-time (40 hours per week) fixed-term contract for a year, with the intention of extending the contract depending on funding and performance.
