Programmes Specialist at Rise Networks

About the Role

• We are seeking a highly organised, strategic, and results-driven Programmes Specialist to oversee the design, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of Rise Networks’ programmes and initiatives.
• The successful candidate will translate programme objectives into clear execution plans, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, track programme performance, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of programmes and projects.
• Develop programme work plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and implementation frameworks.
• Coordinate internal teams, consultants, facilitators, vendors, partners, and other stakeholders.
• Manage multiple programmes simultaneously while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Develop and maintain programme budgets, schedules, trackers, and documentation.
• Coordinate workshops, trainings, stakeholder engagements, conferences, and other programme activities.
• Prepare concept notes, proposals, programme reports, presentations, briefs, and other documentation.
• Monitor programme KPIs, outcomes, deliverables, and impact indicators.
• Identify implementation risks and develop practical mitigation strategies.
• Maintain strong relationships with programme partners, funders, clients, government institutions, development organisations, and ecosystem stakeholders.
• Support partnership development, fundraising, proposal development, and identification of new programme opportunities.
• Provide regular programme updates and performance reports to management.
• Ensure compliance with programme standards, policies, budgets, and timelines.
• Lead and coordinate programme teams to achieve agreed objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve programme processes, efficiency, quality, and impact.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in programme/project management or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience managing programmes from conception through implementation and evaluation.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, teams, vendors, consultants, and partners.
• Strong experience with programme planning, budgeting, reporting, and documentation.
• Experience within the technology, AI, education, development, nonprofit, social impact, or innovation ecosystem is an advantage.
• Knowledge of project/programme management methodologies and tools.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with project management platforms such as Asana, Trello, Jira, Monday.com, Notion, or similar tools is an advantage.
