    Program Officer

    Job Description

    • We are looking to hire a dedicated program officer to join our team. The program officer will support our internal and external communications strategy, develop and execute strategic plans, develop ideas and manage training programs as well as respond to inquiries from the public.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with management to develop and implement an effective communications strategy based on our target audience.
    • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
    • Manage the community of past and present participants of the academy.
    • Identify and contact potential grantees for funding.
    • Represent company brand in industry conferences, meetings and workshops.
    • Manage and monitor grants and prepare funding reports.
    • Provide guidance and maintain frequent communications with program partners.
    • Analyze and troubleshoot program challenges.
    • Develop best practices to improve overall program performance
    • Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for programs.
    • Identify and contact new program partners for business expansion.
    • Plan and execute program activities in timely and accurate manner.
    • Conduct program reviews and prepare reports for management.
    • Prepare classes agenda and organize classes.

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor's Degree with experience as a Program officer or equivalent experience in a similar role is strongly desired.
    • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a communications role.
    • Good time management and organizational skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, content management systems, and social media platforms.
    • In-depth knowledge and experience in program management.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact at all levels in the organization
    • Creative thinker able to set strategy to action and show results.
