Program Assistant at Initiative for Education & Development (IDEE)

Location: Iwopin, Ogun Water Side LGA, Ogun State.

Initiative for Education & Development (IDEE) is a Not-for -Profit organization with the aim of reducing poverty particularly for women and children. We are a learning and empowering organization interested in improving capacities through trainings, mentoring, community engagement, advocacy and technical support. We engage children, youths and women in education for development, skills for the future and engagements for transformation.

 Main Responsibilities:

• Mobilize people for cooperative initiatives and community development activities.
• Manage financial inclusion and literacy programme; group formation, loan disbursement, remittances, documentation and reporting.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for bank books, bank reconciliation and other services.
• Facilitate trainings, manage reading, numeracy and quality education programmes
• Support community health, water, sanitation and hygiene promotion programme.
• Support Making Future Female Scientist and Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STREAM) programme.
• Support agriculture, food security and climate resilient programmes.
• Submit reports and perform other tasks from the line manager or program officers.

The ideal candidate for the role should be a 21st century digital devices and tools user, critical thinker and problem solver with at least NCE or OND in any field but willing to learn Management, Business Development,  Communication skills, Planning  and a passion for education, youth development, micro enterprise and women  development programmes.

The position is based in Iwopin, Ogun Waterside LGA of Ogun State.
