Professional Furniture Maker at RA Trading

Responsibilities

• Reading blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp the requirements
• Taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed
• Cutting, shaping, and smoothing lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurement
• Assembling the piece and affixing parts together.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma. Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or a minimum of 5 years of experience as a carpenter.
• Additional certification like a trade test may be required
• An analytical mind for problem-solving
• The ability to work alone or as part of a small team
• Ability to follow instructions closely
• Attention to detail.
