Production Manager (Extrusion) at Nutri K Limited

General objective

• The Production Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all production activities at NutriK FZE to ensure safe, efficient, and cost‑effective manufacturing of food products in compliance with quality, food safety, and regulatory standards.
• The role aims to achieve production targets while optimizing resources, minimizing waste, and maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities and Tasks
Main Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules in line with demand forecasts and business objectives
• Ensure production output meets quantity, quality, food safety, and cost requirements
• Supervise and coordinate production teams, including supervisors, line leaders, and operators
• Ensure strict compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, hygiene standards) and regulatory requirements
• Monitor production processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to address deviations, non‑conformities, and corrective actions
• Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure equipment availability, preventive maintenance, and reduced downtime
• Manage raw material and packaging usage in coordination with Supply Chain and Warehouse teams
• Control production costs, yields, waste, and rework
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies
• Train, evaluate, and develop production staff; promote teamwork and discipline
• Prepare and submit production reports, KPIs, and performance analysis
• Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and disciplinary measures when necessary

Requirements

• Language skills: English.
• Education Degree: HND or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or related field.
• Work experience: 5–8 years of experience in food manufacturing.
  • At least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • HMI operating system with 3 years on hands experience.
  • Proven experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Computer skills – MS Word, MS Excel & Outlook.
