    Production Manager - Electro-Mechanical Assembly

    About the job

    • The ideal Production Manager will plan, coordinate and control end-to-end production process in the assembling plant. He/she will design and drive implementation of laid down procedures to achieve desired expectation alongside a diverse team of technical talents.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage factory in accordance with Company's policies and manufacturing procedures, including personnel, materials, equipment and tooling.
    • Manage production work routine (start, close, breaks, overtime, vacation, absenteeism, discipline, shift pattern).
    • Maintain production workflow by monitoring procedures to meet specifications and deadlines.
    • Manage raw materials inventory to ensure availability of supply needed to complete production quotas quickly and efficiently, place orders when necessary in advance so inventory is restocked before depletion.
    • Plan and organizes production schedules, assess project and resource requirements, determine quality control standards, manage production processes and ensure that the production is cost effective.
    • Audit QA checklist for content, accuracy & completion and ensure section awareness and understanding of Quality Control Manual. Re-negotiate timescales or production schedules as necessary, select, order and purchase materials.
    • Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing employees on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.

    Qualifications

    • B.Eng. Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Electro-Mechanical, Electrical, Welding & Fabrication Engineering or equivalent.
    • 10+ years of proven work experience in an Industrial/ Manufacturing environment.
    • Experience in a Unionized environment is a plus
    • Strong technical team management ability
