Product & Project Manager – AI & Digitalization at Ascentech Services Limited

Role Summary

• The Product & Project Manager – AI & Digitalization will be responsible for driving the development, implementation, and optimization of AI-powered and digital transformation initiatives within the Marketing function.
• The role will serve as a bridge between Marketing, Technology, Data, Product, and external technology partners, translating business and marketing needs into scalable digital products, AI solutions, automation initiatives, and data-driven processes.
• The successful candidate will manage projects from ideation through implementation, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while achieving measurable business and marketing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Product Management:

• Identify and evaluate opportunities for AI, automation, and digitalization within Marketing.
• Translate marketing and business requirements into clear product requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Develop product roadmaps aligned with marketing and business objectives.
• Define product priorities, features, milestones, and success metrics.
• Manage the product lifecycle from ideation and development through launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.
• Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to identify opportunities for product enhancement.
• Monitor product performance and recommend improvements based on data, customer feedback, and business results.

AI & Digitalization Projects:

• Lead the implementation of AI-powered solutions across marketing activities and processes.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI for content creation, customer segmentation, campaign optimization, personalization, analytics, automation, and customer engagement.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives aimed at improving marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Evaluate emerging AI and digital technologies and assess their potential business applications.
• Work with technology teams and vendors to integrate AI tools and digital platforms into existing systems.
• Ensure appropriate testing, deployment, adoption, and continuous optimization of AI and digital solutions.

Project Management:

• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage project scope, risks, dependencies, issues, and changes.
• Track project progress and provide regular updates to management and key stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Facilitate project meetings, workshops, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives where applicable.
• Maintain appropriate project documentation and reporting.

Marketing Technology & Automation:

• Work with Marketing teams to identify processes that can be automated or digitally optimized.
• Drive adoption and effective use of marketing technology platforms and tools.
• Support integration between CRM, marketing automation, analytics, customer data, content, and other digital platforms.
• Improve marketing workflows through automation and technology-enabled processes.
• Monitor technology adoption and identify opportunities to improve user experience and operational efficiency.

Data & Analytics:

• Work with data and analytics teams to develop insights that support marketing decisions.
• Define KPIs and performance metrics for AI and digital initiatives.
• Use data to evaluate product performance, campaign effectiveness, customer behaviour, and ROI.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and performance tracking mechanisms where required.
• Translate data and analytical findings into actionable recommendations.

Stakeholder Management:

• Act as the key liaison between Marketing, IT, Data, Product, Finance, Operations, and other relevant functions.
• Understand stakeholder requirements and translate them into actionable product and project plans.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, agencies, and external partners.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, risks, and achievements effectively to senior management.
• Facilitate collaboration and alignment across cross-functional teams.

Change Management & Adoption:

• Develop and support implementation and adoption plans for new digital and AI solutions.
• Ensure marketing teams understand the benefits and practical use of new technologies.
• Coordinate training, user onboarding, documentation, and change management activities.
• Monitor adoption and address barriers to effective utilization.
• Promote a culture of digital innovation and continuous improvement within the Marketing function.

Governance, Risk & Compliance:

• Ensure AI and digital projects comply with applicable company policies, data protection requirements, security standards, and regulatory expectations.
• Work with Legal, IT, Data Protection, and Risk teams where required.
• Ensure appropriate governance around the use of AI, customer data, and third-party technology solutions.
• Identify and mitigate project, technology, data, and operational risks.

• Percentage of AI and digital projects delivered on time and within budget.
• Successful implementation and adoption of new digital products and solutions.
• Improvement in marketing process efficiency and automation.
• Reduction in manual marketing processes and operational costs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Digital Transformation, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Product Management, Project Management, Digital Transformation, Marketing Technology, Technology Consulting, or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience managing digital products, technology implementations, or transformation projects.
• Experience working with AI, automation, digital platforms, data analytics, CRM, marketing technology, or related solutions.
• Strong experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Experience taking projects from ideation through implementation and post-launch optimization.
• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum certification is an advantage.
• Product management certification or experience working in Agile product environments is an advantage.
