Product Manager at Payzeep

• We are seeking a Product Manager for Payment Gateway Services, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy and roadmap for our company's payment gateway services.
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, design, sales, and operations, to deliver innovative and scalable payment solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
• Your primary focus will be on understanding market trends, gathering customer insights, and translating them into actionable plans to drive the success of our payment gateway products and services.

Requirements:

• Customer Insights and Feedback:Conduct user research, customer interviews, and usability studies to gain deep insights into customer needs, pain points, and behaviors related to payment gateway services.

Payment Gateway Integration and Partnerships:

• Collaborate with technical teams to evaluate and integrate with payment gateway providers, ensuring seamless integration and compatibility with various payment methods, currencies, and platforms.
• Identify and establish strategic partnerships with payment processors, acquirers, and financial institutions to enhance the capabilities and reach of our payment gateway services.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with the design team to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for the payment gateway services, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and sales enablement materials.
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth deployment, maintenance, and support processes for the payment gateway services.

Performance Monitoring and Analysis:

• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for the payment gateway services and regularly monitor and analyze product performance against set targets.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience of 4+ years in product management, preferably in the fintech or payment solutions industry.
• Strong understanding of Nigerian fintech ecosystem, payment gateway services, including payment processing, Payment settlement and reconciliation, fraud prevention, and related technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to translate customer insights into actionable product plans and strategies.
• Proficient in product management frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong project management abilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
