    Product Manager

    Role

    We are seeking a motivated, experienced, and highly skilled Product Manager to join our innovative team. You must be passionate about improving customers’ lives and empowering other teams in Carbon to fulfill their goals.

    You're curious and obsessed with creating high-quality fintech products. You're analytical and data-driven, and you excel at thinking strategically and prioritizing projects based on projected business impact. You think big and aren't afraid to set ambitious goals for yourself and your colleagues. You have experience executing, and you're obsessive about attention to detail. 

    Responsibilities

    • Translate business needs into product requirements, working with product design to implement beautiful experiences and improve customer journeys throughout the product, and then working with the engineering team to implement these requirements through delivery.
    • Documentation: Manuals, Training Videos, and other collaterals for specific products
    • Analyze product usage data to inform campaign plans, working closely with other team members to develop, document, and execute go-to-market plans
    • Work closely with the marketing team to create full-funnel marketing campaigns that serve to generate new customers.
    • Improve and build features on both our mobile app and web app products.
    • Monitor our conversions throughout the product, always looking to optimize them.
    • Gather quantitative and qualitative data to improve the product.

    Requirements

    • SQL knowledge is strongly preferred.
    • Knowledge of Airtable, Retool, and Tableau is required.
    • 3+ years in B2C product ownership, with a track record that demonstrates end-to-end delivery of products from conception through to delivery to customers, gathering data and making decisions to iterate where needed.
    • Worked in, and delivered B2C products in Payments, or more generally the Fintech industry, or within a regulated environment.
    • Ability to translate business needs into thorough, in-depth product requirements, that you can communicate with the engineering team.
    • Understanding of UX issues, how to improve customer experiences and user journeys, and experience working with product designers to implement incremental changes to optimize features or add new ones.
    • Ability to gather customer data, and work with large data sets, to help drive product decisions.
    • The ability to manage competing deadlines in a high-pressure environment, with varying supervision ranges. 
    • Entrepreneurial drive demonstrated by the ability to self-start and thrive in a fast-paced environment with high expectations. 
    • Ability to drive multiple teams (customer success, engineering, marketing, etc) toward a common business and product outcome.
