Job Description

• Set design requirements based on information from internal teams and user research.
• Identify new product improvement opportunities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and customers to turn your insights into exceptional products.
• Analyse how a new product satisfies market needs and consumer preferences.
• Stay up to date on current industry trends and market conditions.
• Coordinate with other design team members to ensure consistent and accurate communication.
• Modify and revise existing designs to meet changing customer preferences.
• Work closely with product engineers to suggest improvements for products and processes.
• Present product design ideas to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
• Design intuitive, user-centred interfaces and interactions for logistics software applications and digital platforms.
• Develop user personas, user journey maps, and information architecture to guide the design process.
• Create visually appealing and consistent UI designs that reflect the company's brand identity and align with industry standards.
• Develop design systems, style guides, and UI components to ensure a cohesive user experience across products. Requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years proven experience as a Product Designer or UX/UI Designer, preferably in the logistics or supply chain industry.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Familiarity with usability testing methodologies and tools.
• Experience in creating design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries.
• Solid knowledge of logistics operations and industry-specific challenges and requirements.
• Understanding of emerging trends and technologies in the logistics and supply chain domain.
• BSC in Design, Management and Information system, computer science or a related field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design process, problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality designs.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate and articulate design decisions.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering user-centered designs.
