Job Summary

• We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join their team. The ideal candidate will support the Procurement Manager in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services while ensuring compliance with company policies, Nigerian Content regulations, and client specifications. The role ensures cost efficiency, quality assurance, and timely delivery across procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers, both locally and internationally.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
• Process purchase requisitions, issue purchase orders, and track order deliveries.
• Prepare RFQs, RFPs, and participate in tender processes and evaluations.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with HSE, QA/QC standards.
• Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and supply chain risks.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, warehouse, and project teams to ensure smooth procurement processes.
• Assist with cost optimization, budget monitoring, and cost analysis reports.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 1-2 years' procurement experience in the oil & gas industry.
• Knowledge of drilling chemicals, petroleum products, and oilfield services.
• Understanding of Nigerian Content regulations and procurement compliance.
• Membership with CIPS or an equivalent professional body is an added advantage.
