Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers of IT hardware, software, and other technology-related services.
Continuously assess and evaluate suppliers to ensure they meet company standards for quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability
Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s operational needs and long-term business goals.
Oversee the process of placing and tracking orders, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of goods and services
Develop and manage the procurement budget to ensure that all purchases are made within the allocated budget and cost-effective.
Draft, review, and negotiate procurement contracts to ensure that terms, prices, and service levels meet company standards and legal requirements
Procure the technology and hardware necessary to deliver IT solutions to clients, ensuring that all products meet the company’s specifications and quality standards
Regularly conduct market research to identify new suppliers, product trends, and technology advancements relevant to the company’s offerings
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field is a plus, but not mandatory.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on technology or IT-related products and services.
Proven track record of sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts in a technology-driven environment.
Experience in managing procurement for both internal company needs and external client-facing projects is highly desirable.
Knowledge of the IT industry, including technology hardware, software, cloud solutions, and services.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favourable terms and prices from suppliers.
Strong analytical skills to assess suppliers, pricing, inventory needs, and procurement costs.
Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Knowledge of market trends and the ability to forecast product or supply chain needs
