• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers of IT hardware, software, and other technology-related services.
• Continuously assess and evaluate suppliers to ensure they meet company standards for quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability
• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s operational needs and long-term business goals.
• Oversee the process of placing and tracking orders, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of goods and services
• Develop and manage the procurement budget to ensure that all purchases are made within the allocated budget and cost-effective.
• Draft, review, and negotiate procurement contracts to ensure that terms, prices, and service levels meet company standards and legal requirements
• Procure the technology and hardware necessary to deliver IT solutions to clients, ensuring that all products meet the company’s specifications and quality standards
• Regularly conduct market research to identify new suppliers, product trends, and technology advancements relevant to the company’s offerings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on technology or IT-related products and services.
• Proven track record of sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts in a technology-driven environment.
• Experience in managing procurement for both internal company needs and external client-facing projects is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of the IT industry, including technology hardware, software, cloud solutions, and services.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favourable terms and prices from suppliers.
• Strong analytical skills to assess suppliers, pricing, inventory needs, and procurement costs.
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Knowledge of market trends and the ability to forecast product or supply chain needs
