We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager (Construction) to oversee and manage all procurement activities within large-scale construction projects. The role requires a seasoned professional with strong knowledge of construction supply chains, vendor management, and international procurement standards. Expatriates only
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project objectives and timelines.
Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with global and local suppliers for construction materials, equipment, and services.
Ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining high quality and compliance standards.
Establish and maintain supplier performance metrics, driving continuous improvement.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to align procurement plans with project needs.
Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply risks to optimize purchasing decisions.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements in all procurement activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, PMP) are a plus.
Minimum of 8–10 years’ procurement experience, with at least 5 years in large-scale construction projects.
Strong international vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
Excellent knowledge of construction materials, logistics, and supply chain operations.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional procurement teams.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
