Process Engineer / Specialist - Oil & Gas at Resource Intermediaries Limited

Job Summary

• We are seeking a Process Engineer/Specialist with expertise in the Oil and Gas Industry. Responsible for designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
• Key responsibilities include conducting process simulations, developing P&IDs, and providing technical support for process-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage design and engineering activities, including quick fix projects, within or across disciplines.
• Provide expert support for technical review of engineering documents and conduct site visits for validation.
• Review and manage project specifications, procedures, and technical documents.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary checks, design reviews, and HAZOPS studies.
• Validate recommendations from quick fix contractors on procurement and necessary interventions.
• Conduct unit-by-unit oversight analysis of technical documents and contractor activities.
• Review operating and maintenance procedures and provide technical support during testing and commissioning.
• Manage critical interfaces and assist in vendor/contractor selection.
• Supervise and inspect process construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Review and archive documentation for all project process activities.
• Coordinate and expedite contractor activities and contribute to engineer training and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field.
• Registered Professional Engineer.
• 8 years of experience in designing offshore oil and gas production facilities.
• Specifically, 6 years of experience in engineering design for oil facilities, petrochemical, or oil and gas handling projects.
• Extensive involvement in training and developing junior engineers.
• Proficient in oil field engineering construction methods, practices, and procedures.
• Must have track record of working within engineering teams on projects with construction contract values exceeding US$15 million each.
• Familiarity with codes, standards, regulations, and practices governing the design and construction of offshore structures/production facilities, including IP, API, NEG, ISA, ANSI, AGA, NEMA, etc.
