Private Chef at Xpedient Expatriate Services

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and serve daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks) based on household preferences.
• Cook a variety of cuisines (Continental, African, Asian, or others as preferred).
• Shop for groceries and ingredients or manage kitchen inventory and ordering.
• Ensure hygiene and cleanliness of the kitchen and all cooking equipment.
• Cater for special occasions, events, or guests hosted by the family.
• Adjust meals for dietary requirements (e.g., low-sodium, vegetarian, gluten-free).
• Maintain a meal calendar in consultation with the household.
• Handle food storage, rotation, and stock control.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience as a professional or private chef.
• Culinary certification or professional chef training is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to prepare varied, flavorful, and well-balanced meals.
• Deep knowledge of food safety, storage, and sanitation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Discretion, reliability, and high standards of professionalism.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualities:

• Experience in a high-profile or expatriate home.
• Passionate about food presentation and creativity.
• Willingness to travel with the family (optional).
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Salary
N180,000 - N400,000 Monthly.
