Job Description

• Meal preparation.
• Prepare meals according to dietary needs
• Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients.
• Bake, grill, steam, and boil meats, vegetables, fish and poultry and other foods as requested
• Present, garnish and arrange final dishes
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling of utensils, equipment and dishes
• Handle, store and manage ingredients and food
• Ensure ingredients are fresh
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
• Be willing to learn new recipes
• Monitor and manage stock
• Always wear the assigned uniform
• Perform ad hoc duties that may be assigned.

Requirements

• The candidate must have undergone catering courses (diploma/ degree) with a minimum of 4 - 5 years of experience as a professional Chef.
• The desired candidate must be in absolute control of all the kitchen affairs.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• The ideal candidate must be organized and pay attention to details.

Working Schedule:

• Three times a week - Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.
