Role Overview

• We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and highly organized Principal / Head Teacher to lead the academic and operational activities of the school. The ideal candidate will provide strong leadership, supervise teaching staff, ensure academic quality, maintain discipline, and support the growth and vision of GHIS.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic and administrative leadership for the school
• Supervise and support teaching and non-teaching staff
• Ensure effective curriculum implementation and lesson delivery
• Monitor classroom standards, assessments, and student progress
• Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment
• Coordinate staff training, meetings, and school activities
• Communicate professionally with parents and school directors
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff performance evaluation
• Ensure school readiness and compliance with educational standards

Requirements

• B.Ed in Educational Management OR B.Ed in any Education-related field
• Minimum 5+ years teaching experience
• Previous leadership or management experience in a school environment
• Age between 30 – 40 years
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage staff and school operations effectively
• Passion for education and child development

Preferred (Advantage)

• Experience in Nursery and Primary school leadership
• Knowledge of British and Nigerian curriculum
• Strong classroom supervision and teacher mentoring skills
• Experience in school administration and reporting
