Preparator (Piping / Vessel / Valve) at BGI Energy Services Limited

Responsibilities

• Define clear scope of work taking in account the input of different entities (Production for isolation plan, and inspection for scope of internal visit).
• Review and validate with coordinator the procedures, Kick off meetings (RLOs) and JRAs related to the scope in hand prepared by Contractor, including: Supplying any technical documentation needed and organize site survey in order to consolidate any documentation.
• To prepare the list of material based on site survey and exercise good judgment of procuring first in internal EPT stock before launching any new purchase.
• Liaise with procurement department for material procurement/Purchase and follow up to final destination.
• To promote regular visit in industrial base to help the logistic team to verify the conformity of ordered material and ensure that items being dispatched for the execution have the right certificates and the quantity are in line with the material take of list.
• Anticipate potential problems, track material orders and ensure delivery schedule in line with the campaign work program schedule.
• Ensures good mobilization and demobilization of all personnel, materials and tools optimizing the resources / in an efficient way to meet planning milestones and deadlines
• To verify quality of Contractor equipment to ensure it is dispatched fit for intended service.
• To guarantee the good realization of work in respect of the procedures, specifications, safety and environmental protection.
• Participate to regular meeting with the contractor in order to ensure that the preparation progress is in accordance with offshore expectation regarding the execution window.
• Provides support to vessels coordinator as well as personal at site.
• Participate on site when required to project ‘Kick off Meetings’.
• Ensure that the final as built dossier and a REX is done for each vessels intervention

Requirements

• HND / B.Sc / B.Eng in Engineering or Sciences
• 5+ years of experience preferably in the oil and gas industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
