Role Summary:

Our client seeks a competent Power Plant Electrician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on power generation systems and switchgear control circuits. The role involves diagnosing electrical faults, conducting root cause failure analysis (RCFA), and replacing critical components such as relays and switches to ensure uninterrupted operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a power plant environment and demonstrate the ability to operate and maintain electrical equipment efficiently and cost-effectively in a shift-based setting.

Job Description: 

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all switchgear control circuits and generators in compliance with procedures and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) recommendations.
• Conduct detailed Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) on failed equipment or processes and implement preventive actions to avoid recurrence. 
• Monitor equipment loading and operate power generation systems efficiently and cost-effectively.

Minimum Requirement

• First Degree or its equivalent Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related discipline. 
• Minimum of 3 years job-relevant experience preferably in Power Plant Unit.
• Nature of Work: Shift.
