Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Power Plant Electrical Engineer to join our team in Ilishan, Ogun State.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of generator sets, particularly CAT and MWM gas engines, within a power plant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of CAT and MWM generator sets.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and power generation equipment.
• Diagnose faults and implement effective technical solutions.
• Ensure optimal performance and efficiency of power plant operations.
• Monitor electrical parameters and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
• Support plant shutdowns, overhauls, and upgrades when required.
• Collaborate with mechanical and operations teams for seamless plant performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4 – 7 years proven experience in power plant operations.
• Strong hands-on experience with CAT and MWM generator sets (gas engines preferred).
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, switchgear, and control panels.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
