Job Summary 

• They are seeking an experienced and performance-driven Portfolio Manager to lead investment strategy, optimize portfolio returns, and ensure full regulatory compliance within Nigeria’s capital market framework.
• This role is ideal for a disciplined investment professional with a strong track record in registered and licensed asset management firms, who understands the regulatory sensitivity of fund management operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute robust investment strategies across multiple asset classes
• Manage discretionary and non-discretionary portfolios in line with client mandates
• Conduct deep financial analysis, risk assessment, and asset allocation decisions
• Monitor market trends, macroeconomic indicators, and regulatory developments
• Ensure strict compliance with SEC regulations and internal governance standards
• Prepare portfolio performance reports and present insights to clients and management
• Collaborate with compliance, risk, and research teams to maintain operational excellence

Requirements

• 5–8 years’ experience in a registered and licensed asset management firm (Mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian capital markets, fixed income, equities, and alternative investments
• Proven track record of portfolio performance and risk management
• Deep understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks governing asset management
• Professional certifications (CFA, CIS, or equivalent) strongly preferred
• Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
