    Plant Manager

    Job Brief

    • The Plant Manager will be responsible for managing the entire manufacturing process, from production planning to final product delivery.
    • The successful candidate will be a results-oriented leader who is skilled in managing teams and has a track record of achieving operational excellence.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Manage the production process to ensure that all products are manufactured efficiently, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
    • Develop and implement production schedules to optimize plant capacity and minimize downtime.
    • Oversee the procurement of raw materials and manage inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted production.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all employees.
    • Manage the performance of the production team, including hiring, training, and development.
    • Analyze production data and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
    • Work closely with the sales and marketing team to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
    • Manage the plant budget and ensure that production costs are controlled within budgeted levels.

    Job Requirements

    • A Degree in Chemical / Mechanical / Production Engineering or a related field.
    • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
    • Experience in the agrochemical industry is highly desirable.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and experience in implementing process improvements.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
