Oversee production and quality control activities within the plant, by setting standards, enforcing adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensuring timely delivery of good quality products. Oversee technical activities to ensure downtime is prevented or reduced to barest minimum level
Promote product innovations and development and ensure all resources needed are available for use as and when required
Oversee all food and environmental regulatory activities to ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements
Ensure raw materials stock level do not fall below expected buffer.
Review recipe periodically to ensure cost effectiveness and unique quality offering to the market.
Oversee the compilation and reporting of monthly and quarterly reports of all bakery activities to Management on a timely basis.
Determine all human and material resources required for smooth operation of the plant
Develop and deploy strategies for achieving cost effective production
Identify opportunities and potential risk areas in the plant, develop risk mitigation plans and communicate to Management for approval and action
Requirements
First degree or its equivalent in Science related disciplines, such as Chemistry, Biology, Food Science and Technology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Industrial Chemistry.
Masters and required professional certification will be an advantage
Minimum of 15 years relevant work experience with at least 3 years in senior management level.
Experience in FMCG industry especially food and beverage, is Required
