Plant Maintenance Manager - Electrical at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc

PURPOSE

Schedule, communicate Plant Electrical activities and tasks, allocates resources doing so in accordance Power Plant requirement at the right time and quality to maintain asset reliability and continuously improve the overall plant performance in adherence to legal and statutory maintenance activities.

THE JOB

• Develop and implement maintenance management for the Plant Electrical maintenance activities in accordance with the best standards.
• Actively participates in organizing and scheduling of annual overhaul of Power Plant Assets and facilities.
• Ensure maintenance plan and task list are created, updated and documented. Coordinate with production to schedule maintenance plan and assign resource to such. Use asset and maintenance management to manage the life cycle of physical assets.
• Technical Stores: Support the technical stores management through a proper link between the planned maintenance activities and the required spare parts, in advance, to ensure effective maintenance system
• Deploy appropriate Predictive Maintenance tools to ensure Power Plant Machineries availability at all time.
• Improves efficiencies by increasing preventative maintenance across the plant and to minimize breakdowns and reduce meantime between failures.

THE PERSON MUST

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Detailed knowledge of plant and manufacturing operations
• Excellent leadership, and people management skills.
• Proactive, Multitasking and time-management skills.

QUALIFICATION

• BSc/HND in Electrical Engineering

 EXPERIENCE

• Minimum requirement: Five (5) years cognate experience
• Added Advantage: Automated Mills experience and COREN Membership.
