Teaching & Instruction

• Deliver engaging lessons in Physics and Mathematics according to curriculum standards.
• Teach topics such as mechanics, electricity, waves, thermodynamics, algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
• Use real-life examples, experiments, and teaching aids to enhance understanding.
• Break down complex concepts into simple, comprehensible lessons for students of different abilities.

Curriculum & Lesson Planning

• Prepare schemes of work, lesson notes, teaching materials, and assessment plans.
• Incorporate technology, simulations, and practical demonstrations in lessons.
• Adjust teaching strategies to support individual learning needs.

Laboratory & Practical Work (Physics)

• Plan and supervise physics experiments safely.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure availability of required materials.
• Teach students proper scientific methods, measurements, and data recording.
• Enforce strict safety procedures during practical sessions.

Assessment & Evaluation

• Prepare and administer quizzes, assignments, tests, and examinations.
• Mark students’ work and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate academic records and track student progress.
• Support struggling students through extra coaching or remedial lessons.

Classroom Management

• Establish and maintain a positive, disciplined, and engaging classroom environment.
• Encourage student participation through group work, discussions, and problem-solving activities.
• Implement positive behavior management strategies.

Student Support & Development

• Help students develop analytical thinking, numeracy skills, and scientific curiosity.
• Mentor students preparing for internal and external examinations.
• Encourage interest in STEM careers through clubs, competitions, or projects.

Communication & Collaboration

• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and behavior.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments for coordinated curriculum delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Science Education, or a related field.
• Teaching qualification or relevant experience.
• Strong mastery of both Physics and Mathematics.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
