    Physics Teacher

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality physics lessons in line with the school’s curriculum (WAEC, NECO, IGCSE as applicable).
    • Use innovative teaching strategies to make complex physics concepts accessible and engaging.
    • Organize laboratory sessions, experiments, and demonstrations to enhance practical learning.
    • Integrate technology such as physics simulations, interactive boards, and data analysis software into lessons.
    • Assess, record, and report on students’ progress, providing feedback for improvement.
    • Prepare students for internal and external examinations with targeted coaching.
    • Maintain a safe, well-equipped, and orderly laboratory environment.
    • Participate in departmental meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
    • Stay updated on advances in physics education, curriculum changes, and best practices.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, Physics Education, or a related field.
    • TRCN certification is mandatory.
    • At least 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
    • Strong knowledge of physics curriculum and examination standards.
    • Proficiency in computer-based learning tools and simulations is an added advantage.
    • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
    • Ability to inspire curiosity, problem-solving, and critical thinking in students.
