We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
The ideal candidate will support pharmacy operations by maintaining inventory, managing prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical procedures and policies.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications to patients accurately.
Receive and verify prescription orders.
Label and package medications for patients.
Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and restocking supplies and medications.
Maintain accurate patient records and prescription files.
Qualifications
Diploma or certification as a Pharmacy Technician from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with the Pharmacy Council or relevant regulatory body.
Prior experience working in a retail or hospital pharmacy (an advantage).
Good understanding of pharmaceutical terminology and dosage forms.
Proficient in using pharmacy software and systems.
