Pharmacy Technician at JOJ Memorial Foundation

OJ Memorial Medical Centre (JOJ-MMC) a newly built hospital located at Ahiazu Mbaise Imo State to recruit a qualified and reliable Pharmacy Technician who will be responsible for dispensing medications and providing excellent counselling for the patients seen at our Centre.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• be responsible for maintaining adequate stocks of medications and ensuring medications are stored to preserve their quality.
• Provide friendly service to all our patients
• Accurately interpret patient prescriptions
• Advise patients on possible side effects of drugs and how to avoid or manage them.
• Deliver excellent, patient-centered counselling on medications, adherence and preventive practices.
• Use electronic medical records systems and electronic stock management tools

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or equivalent Certification of Pharmacy Technician
•  Relevant work experience will be an added advantage

REQUIREMENTS:

• Computer literate.
• Have a passion for patient-centered care.
