Job Description
Supervision of all Pharmacists across the branches to ensure that:

• Branches meet Sales Targets
• Pharmacists counsel patients on health/drug related issues with consequent recommendations within professional ethics
• Pharmacists fill prescriptions after ascertaining the correctness and ensuring rational use of drugs. Keep records in all necessary books
• Pharmacists fill LPOs and send to the Procurement Manager on or before 10am on Mondays and Thursdays weekly.
• Branches consistently stock the 400 top selling products
• Allowances for out of stock in the branches do not exceed 5%. Penalties applies for higher %
• No over/under stocking of products at the branches. Achieve optimal stock levels based on sales trends.
• Pharmacists follow up on product expiration by ensuring list of short dated products (3 months) gets to expiring committee within 5 days of every new quarter. Penalties apply for items found to have completely expired on shelves.
• Quarterly Health CSR Projects (at least 3 projects in Opebi & 1 each in other branches)
• Attend PharmAlliance meetings monthly and make necessary reports to CEO
• On a weekly basis, work with inventory and purchasing units to generate O/S list for imported items and forward same to CEO & Chairman.
• Carry out regulatory functions and liaison with PCN, PSN, ACPN, Health Authorities, etc.
• Attend meetings of PSN & ACPN regularly and send meeting reports to CEO and chairman
• Planning and effecting internal and external training programs of Pharmacists. Organize the monthly Pharmacists continuous training.
