Pest Control Technician at Hilton Worldwide

JOB DESCRIPTION

A Pest Control Technician is responsible for ensuring a pest free environment by fumigating, baiting and  fogging the hotel rooms, shops  and environs. As an Engineering Team Member, you would also be called when needed to multi-task  in other sections.

What will I be doing?

As a Pest Control Technician, you are responsible for ensuring a pest free environment by fumigating, baiting and  fogging the hotel rooms, shops  and environs. You would also be called when needed to multi-task  in other sections in the engineering department as directed by your supervisors. Work Schedule must be flexible to include weekends and holidays:

• Fumigate, bait and attend to guests’ complaints on mosquitoes, cockroaches, ants and other insects or pests. Support the duty engineer section on the above related tasks.

• Fogging of hotels’ forest against mosquitoes, fumigation of manholes against cockroaches.

• Maintain detailed records in English for logs and inspection.

• Maintain inventory of supplies needed to perform job function.

• Cleaning and Servicing of Insecutor and Camelon Light.

• Minimum of  Diploma in related field

• Knowledge and skills in pests’ chemistry and to be able to use basic hand and power tools.

• Ability to stoop, kneel, grasp, lift, push and pull weights up to 40kg, climb ladders up to 40 feet high and reach in all directions, often times overhead.
