Job brief

• We are urgently recruiting for the role of a Personal Driver who will be responsible for providing safe, reliable, and timely transportation to the employer, ensuring comfort, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.
• The role also involves maintaining the assigned vehicle, planning routes, and assisting with personal errands as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport the employer to and from destinations as required.
• Maintain the cleanliness (interior and exterior) and general upkeep of the vehicle.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and ensure timely servicing and repairs.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to minimize travel time.
• Manage daily travel schedules and ensure punctuality.
• Assist the employer with loading and unloading personal items.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.
• Run personal errands such as picking up packages, shopping, and other requests.
• Monitor vehicle insurance renewal, documentation, and permits.
• Report any mechanical or technical issues immediately.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent; additional training is a plus.
• Proven experience as a personal or corporate driver (minimum 2–3 years).
• Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
• Good knowledge of road networks, routes, and traffic regulations.
• Ability to use navigation apps and GPS.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Punctual, reliable, trustworthy, and well-organized.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Physically fit and capable of long hours of driving when necessary.
