Role Summary:

As a Pediatrician at you will specialize in providing medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of childhood illnesses and developmental disorders.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine well-child check-ups, vaccinations, and developmental assessments.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in pediatric patients, including respiratory infections, allergies, and childhood diseases.
• Monitor growth and development milestones, and provide guidance to parents on nutrition, safety, and overall child health.
• Collaborate with pediatric specialists, such as pediatric surgeons, neurologists, and cardiologists, to manage complex medical conditions.
• Educate patients and families about pediatric health issues, treatment options, and preventive care measures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care activities.

Requirements:

• Medical degree from a recognized institution, with specialization in pediatrics.
• Valid medical license to practice as a pediatrician in Nigeria.
• Board certification or eligibility in pediatrics.
• Strong clinical skills and expertise in managing pediatric medical conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
